Soloist, Trumpet
Miro Petkov
Miro Petkov is the principal trumpet of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, one of the most coveted brass chairs in the world. As principal he leads the orchestra’s trumpet section and takes its most exposed solo lines; here he steps forward from the ranks of the orchestra to take the demanding solo part in Wynton Marsalis’s Trumpet Concerto.
