Samantha Hankey

American

Samantha Hankey is an American mezzo-soprano. She took both her bachelor’s and her master’s degree at the Juilliard School, and in 2018 won the inaugural Glyndebourne Cup and prizes at the Operalia competition. Her roles include Octavian in Der Rosenkavalier, which she has sung at the Metropolitan Opera, Dorabella in Così fan tutte, Mélisande at Santa Fe Opera and Hänsel at Lyric Opera of Chicago, and she has appeared at the Royal Opera House in London and the Zurich Opera.
