Licence and reuse
Short version: print the guides, copy them for a class, share them with friends. Say where they come from, and do not sell them.
The guide texts
The texts written for Concert Programs (program notes, composer and artist notes, the glossary) are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International licence (CC BY-NC 4.0).
- You may print, copy and share them, and adapt them, for example as a handout for a class, a choir or a concert club.
- You must name Concert Programs and link to the guide (see “Cite this guide” on each guide), and say if you changed the text.
- You may not use them for commercial purposes, such as selling them or printing them in a paid programme, without asking first.
Facts
Dates, programmes, casts and other facts are free for anyone to use. Each guide lists the sources they come from; those sources remain the authority.
Names and marks
The names of orchestras, halls and artists belong to their owners and are used only to say which concert a guide is about. Concert Programs is not affiliated with any of them. Quoted material and book covers remain under their own copyright.
